Network Security & Firewall Planning
This course covers the common encryption standards - DES, 3DES, and RSA.
Learn how to control anonymous access through firewalls and define risk
points of the Internet. Gain an understanding of the advantages of authentication
protocols like Kerberos; implement RADIUS, and TACACS+; and analyze hash protocols
MD5, SHA-1, and HMAC. Examine common network attack techniques and how
to hide evidence of attacks. Also covers packet structure and analysis,
capturing IP Datagrams, ICMP Messages as well as UDP, TCP and IP Headers.
Designing Security Solutions
This course covers counter measures to protect your data from internal
and external attacks. Examine Firewall Components and create Security
Policy and Rule Sets. You will learn how to deploy, manage, maintain and
optimize a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Gain an understanding of concepts,
methods and processes of risk analysis and techniques to minimize risk.
Also covers the correct configuration of Remote Access Solutions (RAS)
using PPTP and L2TP with IPSec, and the configuration of enterprise-wide
audit policies.
