Designing effective security solutions requires a broad range of knowledge. At Strategy, our Network Security
Specialist Program will develop a roadmap to help you understand the important issues and considerations in
planning security solutions. We begin with Network Security and Firewall Planning by providing a solid overview
of security technology and theory. Then in our second course, Designing Security Solutions, we bring together
this knowledge with the skills and hands-on experience you need to create and implement a successful plan.
As a Network Security Specialist you will look at current computer security threats and how they impact
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your IT resources. In addition you will examine various
security tools such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and how to protect your private material.
We will finish off by looking at the area of Web Security examining methods to detect and protect against attacks.
